Mars Shinshu Distillery is located at an elevation of 798 meters at the base of Mt. Komagatake of the Central Alps. It is surrounded by beautiful forests and clear air.

Mars Whiskey’s authentic flavor comes from the delicious snowmelt of Mt. Komagatake. It is recognized as the ideal environment for whiskey-making due to the quality of the water which is filtered through layers of granite rock.

You can look inside the facility and also taste the whisky at the onsite bar.
